Joseph O'Connor
Joseph Victor O'Connor is an acclaimed Irish novelist, screenwriter, playwright, and broadcaster. Born in Dublin in 1963, he is the Frank McCourt Professor and Chair of Creative Writing at the University of Limerick. He is widely known for his international bestseller 'Star of the Sea' (2002) and his extensive body of work including novels, short story collections, and non-fiction. His writing has been translated into over forty languages and has received numerous literary awards.
