Donal Ryan

Donal Ryan is an acclaimed Irish novelist and short story writer born in 1976 in Nenagh, County Tipperary. He is a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Limerick. His work, which often explores themes of contemporary Irish society, identity, and the human condition, has been translated into over twenty languages and has won numerous awards, including the European Union Prize for Literature, the Guardian First Book Award, and multiple Irish Book Awards.
