Aminatta Forna

Aminatta Forna is an acclaimed British writer of Scottish and Sierra Leonean heritage. Her work, which includes both fiction and non-fiction, frequently explores themes of war, trauma, memory, and identity. She is the author of the memoir 'The Devil That Danced on the Water' and several novels, including 'Ancestor Stones', 'The Memory of Love', 'The Hired Man', and 'Happiness'. She is also a professor and has held various academic positions, including Director of the Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice at Georgetown University.
