Scott Westerfeld
Scott Westerfeld is a New York Times bestselling author known for his young adult science fiction novels. He is best known for the Uglies series and the Leviathan series. His work often explores themes of identity, conformity, and technology in dystopian societies. Westerfeld also writes adult science fiction and has co-authored books with other authors. Before becoming a full-time writer, he held various jobs, including factory worker, substitute teacher, textbook editor, and software designer. He also composed music for dance productions. Westerfeld divides his time between Sydney, Australia, and New York City.
