Anne Fine
Anne Fine is an English writer, born on December 7, 1947. She is best known for her children's books but also writes for adults. Fine served as the second Children's Laureate in the UK from 2001 to 2003. Her work often explores social issues with humor and insight. Her novel "Madame Doubtfire" was adapted into the film "Mrs. Doubtfire."
