Natasha Bowen is a Nigerian–Welsh writer and former teacher best known for her New York Times bestselling debut Skin of the Sea and its sequel Soul of the Deep. Her work draws on West African mythology, Yoruba culture, and historical settings. She studied English and creative writing at Bath Spa University and has lived and worked in the UK.
