Anne Hillerman
Anne Hillerman is an American journalist and a New York Times bestselling author, known for continuing her father Tony Hillerman's popular Leaphorn and Chee mystery series. She has expanded the series by adding Bernadette Manuelito as a central protagonist. Before her career in fiction, Hillerman worked as a journalist and editor for various New Mexico newspapers and published several non-fiction books on topics such as travel, local New Mexico culture, and cuisine. She has also served as an executive producer for the AMC television series 'Dark Winds,' based on the characters created by her and her father. Hillerman's work often features the landscapes and cultural nuances of the American Southwest.
