Andy Weir is an American novelist best known for hard science fiction works that combine technical accuracy, humor, and survival drama. He gained prominence after self-publishing The Martian, which was later expanded and traditionally published and adapted into a major motion picture. His other novels include Artemis and Project Hail Mary.
