Steve Sohmer

Steve Sohmer (born June 26, 1941) is an American author, television writer/producer and former network and studio executive. He served in senior marketing and executive roles at CBS and NBC and was briefly president and CEO of Columbia Pictures. Sohmer is the author of novels such as The Way It Was, Favorite Son and Patriots, and has written and produced television miniseries based on his work. Later in his career he earned advanced degrees at Oxford and published scholarly work on Shakespeare.
